Campus Acres Utilized for Outdoor Learning Everyday
PCS students take full advantage — everyday! — of the 10+ acres on campus, making use of outdoor learning spaces, including the campus’s wooded acres, large back field, hiking trails, a yurt set up as a learning outpost, and the outdoor spaces near classrooms for both learning and play. In addition, students contribute daily to our self-made natural playspace during both extended recess times and fresh air breaks. Students go out each and every day, year round, with the proper gear for all weather.
