Planning and building a garden at our new building has always been an important part of moving into our new space because we rely on our garden for so many important lessons. However, a garden needs plenty of helping hands and a keen eye in order to keep growing strong. Join us at the Garden Club where we will plant seeds, sing songs, and take care of our beautiful garden at PCS. We will also create make-and-take projects to bring home, and learn how to apply these new skills at home! Bring your own pair of gardening gloves and be prepared with sunscreen / bug spray if you choose.

Moving Together — Modern Dance with Alex Albrecht

Maximum 15 students (minimum 4 enrollments to run the class)

In this class, we will explore different textures, levels and tempos of movement and dance that will allow students to gain confidence in their ability to learn and generate material. Sometimes we will let music inform our movements and sometimes we will let our physical intuition be our guide. We’ll start with a warm-up that fires students’ spatial awareness and proprioception, and encourages them to trust in their bodies’ physical and creative instincts. We will work together to build a phrase (or string of movements) that they can perform for each other in small groups at the end of each class. Let’s dance!

The Streetwise Lab Introduction to Business class is a 6-week course that introduces students to the world of business in an engaging way. We will use the "case method" approach, the same one used at the best universities in the world, to teach students fundamental business concepts and skills.

That means in every class we will immerse ourselves in real life situations where students have to think like a business leader to try to solve challenging problems.

The class is taught by a Harvard Business School MBA with extensive business and teaching experience. It will be challenging and you will have to think on your feet, but it will also be fun and interactive. We'll role play, debate, and strategize just like a CEO.
