Authentic Literacy in Early Childhood: Writing Letters to Friends

Sure our Early Childhood writers could practice letter formation in a workbook … or they could write meaningful letters to their friends to mail off at the post office next door. We’ll take the way that fosters authentic engagement, creative thinking and community integration for the win! Ever since they discovered that we’re neighbors with the post office, this group of Early Childhood students is all about writing letters, and we can’t get enough! 💌
