WELCOME TO PECONIC COMMUNITY SUMMER!
8 Weeks of Nature-Centered, Project-Based and Arts-Infused Summer experiences for children ages 3 through Grade 4!
In a world that often pushes a rushed and tech-laden childhood, PCSummer offers something increasingly rare: the gift of an unhurried, meaningful summer. Here, days unfold with intention and joy as children explore nature, create with their hands, and play freely outdoors—splashing through water, building, imagining, and discovering at their own pace.
PCSummer is a vibrant, nature-centered summer experience, thoughtfully crafted to inspire young minds through hands-on, nature-based learning infused with the arts. Children will explore the wonders of the natural world, create imaginative art projects, and engage in meaningful activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
Our approach is deeply rooted in the innovative philosophy that guides our school year at PCS. Each day weaves together nature-centered exploration, hands-on activities,, and arts-infused experiences. Children spend their mornings and afternoons outside, engaged in the kind of play and learning that defines a well-spent summer—creative, physical, and joyfully structured.
