Adult Ceramics Workshop with Ester Kislin
Join us for an evening ceramics workshop for adults — complete with wine and cheese! — Thursday, December 5th from 6-8pm.
In this course, participants will take inspiration from nature to craft floral porcelain sculptures. The class covers hand-building techniques, including slab construction, surface decoration, and sculpting, along with Ester's unique burn-out method. This innovative technique involves dipping plants in fine porcelain slip, then firing them to burn out the organic material, resulting in a delicate porcelain replica of the original flora. Each project will undergo two firings and will be ready for pick-up at PCS within three weeks of the workshop.
