The Maker Fair returns to PCS Saturday, April 13th!
The PCS Maker Fair is a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness in celebration of the Maker Movement.
“Making” is at the heart of the PCS project-based curriculum. We know that working with our hands engages our minds in meaningful and memorable learning. And so, we’re thrilled to host our 5th Annual PCS Maker Fair to celebrate the power of “Making.”
PCS Students and local Makers from the community — woodworkers. robotics teams, artists, chefs, scientists, inventors, puppeteers, performers, and more -- will present workshops and interactive demonstrations all free to attendees! Come join us for a day of community, collaboration and innovation at our new Cutchogue campus.
+ 30-50 Makers expect to attend, and you could be one — register as a Maker below!
+ Local food vendors and our PCS Alum Association will set up a sidewalk food court to fuel hungry Makers and attendees.
+ PCS will be open for guided tours of our classrooms with PCS co-director Liz Casey Searl.
+ We’re working on a line-up of performers to inspire and entertain the over 300+ attendees we’re expecting to see.
Suggested Donation: $15 per family
