Hopes and Dreams Documentation
Unlike traditional classroom bulletin boards that focus on displaying children’s finished work, the Reggio-style documentation we embrace at PCS captures the entire learning journey. It’s a living, breathing record of thoughts, theories and inquiries that unfold in the classroom every day. Through photographs, transcripts of conversations and carefully curated artifacts, we create a rich landscape that reflects not just what children learn, but how they think, question and grow.
Hopes and dreams are an annual start-of-school tradition at PCS. Students across grade levels take time during the first weeks of school to document their hopes and dreams for the upcoming year to be displayed in the classroom. This reflective practice helps students develop a growth mindset for the upcoming school year and sends a clear message that we value their ideas and aspirations.
