Easels: Working on a Vertical Surface

We love giving kids the chance to work on easels! The increased range of a vertical surface challenges both sides of the brain to work together as painters move across the surface. What’s more, the vertical surface naturally aligns kids’ hands and wrists into proper writing position, building muscle memory for future writing tasks. We also see increased attention to detail because kids are able to bring themselves up closer to their work. And no big setup needed — an easel is always ready to.
